Sejak abad XIV, daerah ini disebut MASSENREMPULU yang artinya meminggir gunung atau menyusur gunung, sedang sebutan Enrekang dari ENDEG yang artinya NAIK DARI atau PANJAT dan dari sinilah asal mulanya sebutan ENDEKAN. Masih ada arti vrsi lain yang dalam pengertian umum sampai saat ini bahkan dalam Adminsitrasi Pemerintahan telah dikenal dengan nama “ENREKANG” versi Bugis sehingga jika dikatakan bahwa Daerah Kabupaten Enrekang adalah daerah pegunungan, sudah mendekati kepastian sebab jelas bahwa Kabupaten Enrekang terdiri dari gunung-gunung dan bukit-bukit sambung menyambung mengambil ± 85 % dari seluruh luas wilayah yang luasnya ± 1.786.01 Km².

Sebelum terbentuknya menjadi Kabupaten berturut-turut mengalami perubahan bentuk pertama : Menurut sejarah pada mulanya Kabupaten Enrekang adalah merupakan suatu kerajaan besar yang bernama MALEPONG BULAN, kemudian kerajaan ini bersifat MANURUNG yang terdiri dari 7 kawasann yang lebih dikenal dengan ”PITU MASSENREMPULU” yaitu :

BATU LAPPA
DURI
MAIWA
LETTA
BARINGIN

( 7 Massenrempulu ) ini terjadi kira-kira dalam abad ke XIV dan kerajaan tersebut berubah menjadi LIMA MASSENREMPULU yakni :

Akhirnya saya mengajak hadirin dan seluruh masyarakat MASSENREMPULU dimana saja berada mari kita jadikan budaya MASSENREMPULU sebagai modal dasar pembangunan dalam melaksanakan otonomi daerah untuk mewujudkan predikat atau gelar yang pernah diberikan oleh raja-raja dari bugis yang diungkapkan dalam Bahasa Bugis bahwa :

Aril dan keluarganya terbunuh itulah ungkapan yang pantas kita berikan untuk mereka!

Pertanyaan siapa yang membunuhnya ? Mungking kita perlu bertanya pada diri sendiri atau bertanya pada masyarakat indonesia . Diantara mereka seberapa banyak yang resah dengan pemberitaan aril dan seberapa banyak yang tidak peduli dengan pemberitaan tersebut. Dan banyak pula yang berkata bahwa aril hanya lagi kena sial…..

Menyimak pemberitaan di media massa yang beragam namun saya pribadi salut pada demonstrasi ibu-ibu di salah satu kota yang mengatakan bahwa itu hanya issu kecil yang dibesar-besarkan untuk mengalihkan perhatian agar yang lebih besar terlupakan .

Yang terlintas dibenak kita mereka yang melakukan demonstrsi menuntut Ariel sucihkah mereka ?

Kami melihat mereka di salah satu media demonstran memandang Ariel dengan begitu hina seakan mereka tampah cacat. Aril bukan malaikat mungkin itu jawaban yang patut kita berikan untuk mereka. Namun andaikan itu bukan perbuatan Aril bagaimana bila hal tersebut hanya dilakukan oleh mereka yang menggunakan tehnologi atau program baru yang mereka ciptakan dimana para ahli yang dengan percaya diri mengatakan bahwa itu 100% asli, program tersebut mereka belum tau atau dengan kata lain mereka belum kenal dengan program terebut, jawabnya tentu itu bisa saja terjadi sama halnya dengan membuat virus computer segala kemungkinan bisa saja terjadi.

Beberapa tokoh masyarakat menuntut ariel meminta maaf kepada seluruh masyarakat Indonesia , tapi toh dia bukan koruptor yang merugikan Negara , dia tidak membuat rakyat menjadi sengsara .Kalaupun benar ariel pelaku video tersebut mungkin dia hanya perlu minta maaf pada keluarga cut tari tampah perlu membunuh aril dan keluarganya. Karna pasti dia tidak akan mengulangi perbuatannya

Kenapa kita mesti pusing dengan hal seperti itu, kenapa kita tidak mengambil hikmah yang ada dan cukup mengatakan pada anak-anak kita bahwa itu salah, atau kita berkata kepada orang yang duduk disamping kita hati-hati karna kita pernah melakukan hal yang sama he..he… tampah perlu membunuh ariel dan keluarganya.

SPANYOL , Keadaan Polusi di laut dari hari ke hari semakin mengkhawatirkan. Beberpa ilmuwan ilmuawan didunia mencoba mendesain robot ikan yang mampu mendeteksi keadaan polusi air laut

Dikutip dari Skynews,sekelompok ikan tiruan akan dilepaskan di perairan laut Spanyol untuk mendeteksi kebocoran dari kapal laut yang mengancam kehidupan laut.
Ikan buatan berbentuk ikan lohan itu mempunyai ukuran panjang 1,5 meter dengan membawa sensor kimia yang dapat mendeteksi bahan bakar kapal yang ada diperairan dan bahan kimia di air. Ikan buatan ini digerakkan oleh baterai yang dapat bertahan selama delapan jam dan dapat bergerak tanpa remote control.

Sementara ini ada delapan ikan buatan telah dilepas ke ke perairan Bay of Biscay di Gijon dengan biaya sekira 100.000 poundsterling. Rencanaya robot ikan ini merupakan bagian dari kemitraan tiga tahun antara firma konsultasi teknik BMT Group dan Essex University.

Dalam peryataannya Professor Huosheng Hu dari Essex University mengatakan, ikan-ikan ini akan mencegah potensi bahaya tercemarnya laut. Dan pada saatnya nanti proyek ini berhasil, beliau berharap ikan buatan ini dapat digunakan di seluruh dunia untuk mengatasi meluasnya pencemaran
